The Credit Union Research Forum (CURF) website is dedicated to the dissemination of research work relating to credit unions. Contributions to this site are welcome from both academics and practitioners and should be sent to either of the site moderators, Professor Donal McKillop or Charles Ferguson.

Although the primary focus of the site is on UK and Irish credit unions, research work with a wider international focus can also be found and this includes contributions from the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The searchable database of UK credit unions provides data for the years 1996 to 1998. To complement the database a background commentary is provided by the moderators on UK credit unions and UK legislation. Additionally, a key code is provided which explains the main categories of data used in the database.

The site also contains extensive links to other credit union resources on the internet and these are organised on a country basis.

As this site is being continually developed and updated, it is recommended that you bookmark it and visit regularly.
