Curriculum Vitae for Professor John Wilson

John O.S. Wilson is Professor of Banking at the University of St. Andrews. He teaches on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Management. His main teaching specialisms include Industrial Organisation, Banking and Managerial Economics. He is presently director of research in the Management School at St. Andrews. He is associate editor of the British Accounting Review and the European Journal of Finance. John specializes in industrial organization and banking. He has published widely on European banking and on UK and US credit unions. John is author of a number of books including: Industrial Organization: Competition, Strategy, Policy published by Pearson Education; and European Banking: Efficiency, Technology and Growth published by John Wiley. He is currently co-editing the Oxford Handbook of Banking.
